209 Easy to pack for holidays - simply an all rounder for all occasions. The currently fashion frill colour, front bands and cuffs, the set-in sleeves gives it the upper to any traditional cardigan. Ideal for those chilly summer evenings or under a jacket or coat.
The Yarn: Only 200g of MILAN are required to knit this beautiful Stocking Stitch cardigan.
The Pattern, for machine knitting, is available in four sizes at £3.50 for the PDF email attachment plus postage for the printed version.

Knitted in Stocking Stitch, with
a rouleaux front trim. The Purl Side is the right side. It can
be finished as a slip-over as shown or as a cardigan with a
button instead of the flower.
The Yarn:
MILAN - Super Kid Mohair, a
200g is required for small, medium and large, just over 200g
i.e. a 250g cone is required for extra large.
The Pattern: Is available for machine
(M 62) and hand knitting (H 62) in four sizes.
The machine knitting pattern includes step-by-step
instructions, supported with photographs, for making up of the
slip-over and the cardigan version.
Machine: Standard gauge machine with
Ribber for a few rows at the rouleaux trim, these few rows can
be knitted by hand or with the garter carriage.
Hand knitting: Needle size 3 to 4 mm
A most functional and adaptable little cardigan that you'll wonder how you managed without it.
It will complement a festive top or dress or casual wear. As well as easy to pack (will even fit in an average size handbag) it is ideal to take on travels; be that to a warm climate where evenings can be quite cool or the 'just in case' any other time; it is light enough to wear under a jacket or coat but warm and looks good.
If you prefer it can be made longer as the garment weights less than 150g and up to 12 cm longer is possible with a 200g cone.
The Yarn: 200g cone of Milan will knit this jumper but you will have enough left to make it either longer or to knit one of the 1 x 1 ribbed scarves and/or hats featured on the Milan page.
The Pattern includes the round and V-neck version in four sizes at £3.50.

However any light and dark colour of either of these yarns would look attractive, i.e. colour 15 of Milan or Roma with a light contrasting colour.
For this garment two most beautiful different textures of slip-stitch and plating are created with 2 different qualities and colours,
Worn over a T-shirt, blouse, polo neck jumper with skirts or trousers it always looks the part with or without belt.
Note the distinctive trimming for the V-neck, described in step-by-step in Book No.2 in the KNIT TO FINISH SERIES amongst other V-necks.
