All qualities in our Regular Yarn Range including Rio and Roberta are excellent for Double Bed Knitting but are especially suited to Passap/Pfaff and Singer machines.
Unique Jacquard textures can be created working with two or more different colours and qualities, with each quality of a different metric count. The three designs 902, 900 and 901 featured are good examples of some of the possibilities when combining different qualities.
Fantastic one colour textures can be achieved by using two strands and a single strand of the same quality/colour of either Carino, Roma, Milan or Maestro/Cesari in separate yarn feeders with a Jacquard Stitch pattern.
Patterns :
Almost all of our patterns for 'Standard Gauge' machines (Brother, Knitmaster, Silver) can be adapted for use with Passap and Singer machines, a notable exception is a Lace design.
The Main Tension stated in a pattern written for Standard Gauge machines is more or less the same for Singer machines, however, for Passap machines the Tension needs to be slightly increased in most cases.
